Why Allama Iqbal accept Sir title ? But Why ?

You have a Right to comments with fact and logical answer but not have a right to use harsh language.Hope that you will behave like a Civilized Peoples.
Donot ever think that this is a disrespect to him ?
This is a Question and do answer as a intellectual peoples.
If you will give references with logical facts ,not with fiction it will be more acceptable ?
I do respect Allama Iqbal and he was very good poet.
I do have a question and I have a right to ask about this.
In 1919 Tagor (Nobel prizer in Literature) didnot accept honour of Sir then why Iqbal accept this.We were fighting against the Britishers and he was accepting the Honour.
What is this ?
Why ?
